It certainly is 'Birkin'... a plant already listed on the NGA database.

Knowing its name let me learn a bit more about it.
One web site said, "The growing demand for these beautiful plants, their unstable nature, and the limited available supply means it's not easy to source them."
They might be surprised to know I bought it at Lowe's.
Our NGA database went one descriptive step further... calling 'Birkin' a... "Radiation-induced chimeric mutation of: Rojo Congo."

That other site may have been old news. My Lowes had a big batch last year. ?
Ive seen it in other id sites often enough, it isnt rare for sure.

Birkin is one of the most available Philodendrons on the planet right now. Availability may be regional, but they are largely available anywhere Costa Farms has a contract to supply plants because they have been tissue culturing it
