Those are beautiful, Zoia. I never plant them because I always read they don't bloom when it gets very hot, so I skip them, but I do love seeing them. Wonderful banner.
I don't know the cultivar, sadly. I have them in baskets from the beginning of April through the end of June at which point they melt out. I can't have them in the ground, the bunnies mow them down. But they are the best Spring flower, lasting for months even when they get snowed on.
Very special.
That is such a wonderful saturated blue and captured so well - and the foliage just looks like green flowers
