@kniphofia Sue, thank you for sharing the photos of your beautiful dahlias. This one in particular is so unusual. I cannot grow dahlias here in hot humid clay-dirt Georgia USA, and I always am in awe when Gardener's World features dahlias. They are so colorful and exquisite.

Oh if only it were mine! Sadly I no longer have a garden as I live in an apartment. One of my yearly highlights are trips to Halls of Heddon display fields near Newcastle Upon Tyne which is where this was taken.
