They are on a 2,000 year old Roman wall in Aosta, Italy. Taken Jun 2023. Delosperma (I think).

Ah, yes--Delosperma. I even like what looks like an old weathered bone in the front. Provides great contrast along with the pebbly rock for the beautiful blooms.

Good eye. That is a pigeon bone, my guess would be.
Pigeons appear to live in the upper parts of the wall.
