Maurice, it's interesting how we daylily enthusiasts give our attention to what is blooming during bloom season
and don't see what is uninteresting at that time: the cultivars that fail to bloom! That is, unless we are really organized or intentional, like Nan is.
Of many hundreds of cultivars, I'm having a hard time coming up with a list for you. Paying attention to the non-thing is almost a paradox, and we don't do it well. When I used to provide hypnosis in psychotherapy, I used attending to non-things as trance-deepening riddles for clients. Blooming daylilies are such attention-seeking divas and we humans are such attentional fools with one-track minds...
Here's hoping more people have paid attention to non-bloomers than I have.
