@Seedfork Larry, the CDs may or may not have extra information that is not in the database. The printed check lists and the annual updates include more information than can be obtained from the information displayed when the online registration database is queried. That is because the printed formats include summary listings.
If the CDs are exact copies of the printed books then they should also include those summaries.
The summaries can be created by accessing all the registrations for a given year (or period of years) and tabulating the information, but that is considerable extra work if the information has to be obtained by screen displays from the online registration database.
