Does anyone have information about the electronic check list cd-roms that the daylily society used to sell?

I asked about those CDs one year when I was in charge of classification and was told they no longer use them. So I suppose even if there were still a few floating around they would be out of date. The process for proper classification is to use the AHS database advanced search with the "Flower Show Options: display flower show sections" box checked. When the search is done the proper classification will show in brackets in a lavender purple color.
Not sure if that is of any help, you might not be wanting the CD's for that purpose.
Edited to add: I was also told that they would try to remove all the references to the cd's as the source to be used for classification form the show instructions.

@Seedfork Thanks Larry, but I am not interested in them for show purposes. The actual raw information on them should never be out of date as far as the actual data is concerned. That would not necessarily be true for information on the CD-ROMs about classifications of various sorts. I am interested in the CD-ROMs for the raw data.

Marice,
Did the CD's have info that is not now in the database? I have never seen the CD's info displayed, was in in a list form that would make it easier and faster to find the info?

@Seedfork Larry, the CDs may or may not have extra information that is not in the database. The printed check lists and the annual updates include more information than can be obtained from the information displayed when the online registration database is queried. That is because the printed formats include summary listings.

If the CDs are exact copies of the printed books then they should also include those summaries.

The summaries can be created by accessing all the registrations for a given year (or period of years) and tabulating the information, but that is considerable extra work if the information has to be obtained by screen displays from the online registration database.

Maurice,
Thanks, I was not aware of the summaries.
