Merry Christmas 🎄 everyone!
Already had some of my Christmas today.
I can't get over how slow I am on opening presents. My stepfather goes faster than I do. Hilarious! I literally fall behind because I'd rather sit and take photos of everyone opening theirs, thusly my gifts pile up and I end up last in line. Complete opposite of the way I was growing up. However I have apparently gotten neater. Rather than tossing paper, bags and bows all in an unorganized pile like I used to, I now fold up boxes and bags, pull bows off paper and pile them together, and even fold up and stack the tissue paper after each gift. Sticking tongue out
After gifts have been opened, my mom likes to leave her stuff under the tree for days whereas stepfather carries his all away and leaves it piled in his room (or eats it like the mounds chocolate I gave him Rolling my eyes. ). I like to go ahead and put my stuff where it's supposed to stay.
Ban the GMO tomato!

Our family no longer exchange physical "gifts". We feel fortunate, and need for nothing. We have created a new "tradition", and give to charities of choice. Knowing each others "loves", and giving to those "loves", is a very satisfying gift. 🎁
Merry Christmas to all!

Merry Christmas! I joined this site at peak COVID time in 2020. Since then, I have enjoyed every conversation, interaction, and general warmth of the community. Thanks so much to all the people who make it such a genial, helpful, and wonderful community.
