Sadly no, but you can look at a lot of pictures on iNaturalist, I hope to get it one day as it is really beautiful.

The first one is a no-ID Japanese morning glory (Ipomoea nil) that was collected in 2015 and sent to me as a gift. The second one I am hoping will look like its momma. The color in the second bud looks purplish - time will tell.

Woah, this one is so pretty!! Is it a unique variety or is it a mutation? I'd love to have seeds of this one.
The peak of the mountain may have a nice view, but you can see the flowers bloom at it's base.

It is the result of a natural cross between a reverse tube Ipomoea purpurea (Q1141) and probably a Carnival of Venice type of purp. The person who discovered the cross sent me seeds. I am growing this one because I wanted to see if it would produce a reverse tube flower. The seed was yellow-tan color and I think that trait is linked to the reverse tube trait. The parent didn't have reverse tube flowers but had yellow-tan seeds so I was curious to see if the F1 generation would produce the coveted reverse tube flower. I did enjoy seeing it's pale flaked color pattern this morning and will be happy to share seeds. It should produce seeds - I've never seen a purp that was shy about making seeds Hilarious! and you're welcome to have some of them.

You tell me! I just finished removing the chaff from my seeds and I'm over 120 grams now! 😲

Also I have produced another batch of dried petals. So far it's going very well. It reminds me of gold leaf, being very fragile and sticks to the fingers just from moisture. Oh, and I almost forgot a picture I took this morning. The one plant is still doing well, but the other one looks like a zombie. I'm not even sure if it's dead yet.

You have harvested quite a lot of seeds! Good luck in distributing them amongst your neighbors. Soon PR will be awash in purple flowers.

Harvesting the petals should slow down the production at least. I might experiment with the seeds to see if I can produce something interesting. Oh, did I mention I'll start a side-business? I'm just waiting until I have enough variety and products, and until my piggy bank is full. It sounds silly talking about a piggy bank lol but I'll use that money for the business.

Unfortunately all attempts at imbibing the old gypsy bride seeds have failed. 😔
I'll plant a purple split petal one on my trellis first then.

Hi, do any of you guys know how to grow Calystegia Soldanella? I am actually pretty new to gardening and I do not know how to germinate it and help care for it, I collected two seeds in San Francisco.

I've never grown them but this is what google says:

To grow Calystegia soldanella (Sea Bindweed) from seed, you can try these steps:
In spring, sow the seeds in a cold frame with free-draining compost, just covering them.
Soak the seeds in warm water for 12–24 hours after scarification.
Mix equal parts potting soil, coarse sand, and perlite for good drainage.
Sow the seeds on the surface, then lightly dust with soil.
When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick them out into individual pots.
Grow them on in a cold frame for at least their first winter.
