You're doing great, I got buds on some of my arabicums last year but no flowers, my first 2 both opened today but the plants are 2 years old.

I have some that are tiny too. Although I have 2+ years old that are 15x taller Hilarious! As soon as I repotted them, they took off.

Keeping my fingers crossed that I can squeeze some seedpods out of these blooms. Some of her blooms are doubles and others are multi petals.

It'll probably take off once it's large enough to move to a bigger pot.

The 6 plants in front are 1 year old arabicums.

@wildbloomers those are beautiful root trained and tower Adeniums! I like them but I am too lazy to train any adeniums.

@kyle_fl you have some real beauties there. Yes, I am afraid to repot my seedlings Hilarious! they double and triple in size and height when I repot. So I have kept them in small pots until I see them with their first blooms. I do have some that seem to stay true miniature, even when I repot them. They bloom and still stay tiny.

Kyle if you like to experiment here is @Kaktus tutorial for root training. I might try them now that I have a lot of seedlings to play with.

I appreciate you pointing out the thread, there's a lot of good information there. I don't really like the radial root look but the root over objects technique is intriguing .

You are Welcome! you can have a lot of fun with them. I like the radial root but that is too stressful for me to cut the roots and try to revive them. I kill enough already without even trying D'Oh! I just grow them the normal way.

Here's today's blooms. This is Madame Violet but I think this is mislabeled. I've seen this bloom sold under a different name. This is a beautiful purple, probably the most desirable purple because it is two-tone, 2 blooms opened today, more blooms soon. I need to graft this as this is hard to find and I have no luck with cuttings.

Here's some blooming, sadly hubby accidentally knocked off my Vulcanus seedpod. I superglued it. Hopefully since it is almost ripe that the seeds will ripen and still be viable. I re-arranged, they are getting sunburned in full sun. I should have slowly moved them from shade to full sun.

On sad note, Borderexdenia got sunburned and showing rot. I grafted two cuttings to try to save it. One seedpod ripened but seeds are not plump and 2 more are almost ripe. Hope the seedpods remain viable since they are almost ripe. I will test the seeds on the one that just ripened.

This one is keeping the red colour and not shifting towards pink or purple. Second bud opened yesterday.

Gigi, I love that first purple one above, it's an unusual color for an adenium and very pretty. And the group photo is a fantastic, like all the family together! Hilarious! But all very pretty.

Thank you both! This is first group that has showy blooms for now. I kept these in part shade for now since I hand pollinated some. I think the less sun they are exposed too after hand pollination, the longer the blooms and fertilization cycle. The better chance for seedpod.

The Madam Violet (two-tone purple) has a seedpod Thumbs up hopefully it will keep! I'm afraid to breathe on it. Good thing it didn't get hit with a broom ๐Ÿงน as it was 2 pots away from Vulcanus.
