Thread OP

Slightly over a year ago, I decided to just plant an avocado seed into the ground, just to see what would happen. After pruning, two sprouts couldn't settle their competition, but I have lost my main branch. The plant is growing sideways a lot, which has me worried.

Should I prune the plant to re-establish a main branch? Where should I prune?

Here are some photos. I brought the plant indoors over winter, so the plant is losing a lot of leaves, but the branch structure is nicely visible.

Wait until summer to do any pruning.
