Well it is a wheelbarrow full of dirt , I do have a handy topper for it that transforms it into a potting station.

It's allot of work but I find it tremendously rewarding. Your garden area is wonderful and I would love working there. The wheel barrow potting bench is a great re-use idea. Right now I'm left to do the bulk of the clean up from last season by myself-which wouldn't be so bad if I could take a week off of work and put my nose to the grindstone but that's not possible so it'll have to get done in sections at a time. One bed at a time! It's very warm here today. In the upper 80's and I can feel the humidity creeping in. A possible storm later. I'l l have to hustle my self around the garden raking up leaves for compost. Sighing!

A nice day for the Herb Fair yesterday
I was conservative in my plant acquisitions.
Statice and Gomphrena fireworks for the cutting garden
Black and blue salvia for the hummers
elfin thyme for a fairy garden.
a pink turtle head for the pasture project
astilbe and catmint for the perennial beds

Finished my tomato and pepper selection from a small local greenhouse
Nice size plants for only a dollar all grown from seed by the owner.
mini bell pepper
Chinese giant pepper
pink brandywine tomato

A great morning in the garden
Peonies opened yesterday and are on the table smelling up the house Thumbs up I have the old-fashion type that smell great.

Watered some things and potted up some of the micro-dwarf tomatoes.
Hurray! Found a few ground-cherries I am so happy because I did not find any to purchase and my potted seeds did not come up.

Forgot to close the greenhouse last night and there was a mess , lucky the plants were spared but pots everywhere and the fish food gone Thumbs down

I love the smell of peonies. They remind me of my mother who grew them.

What critter got into your greenhouse do you think?
Raccoon?

I am sure it was the mama coon , I have a very welcoming compost pile near the potting compound and she checks out the bird feeders .
I saw her this morning with two babies ..all checking the bird feeder Smiling

Peony is our state flower and they are in full bloom everywhere.
