hey!

i got this node from my friends grandma's backyard, it was literally just nodes attached to a tree, no leaves, no growth, just nodes. so i thought i would be fun to grow a mistery plant and cut myself a node with their permission.

i have 2 leaves so far, and ofc this is a young plant and it might be too soon to id, but anyone has any guesses?

thanks!

I see what's look like "Cataphyll" (covering sheath). No marginal collecting veins at the edge of leaves. No "Geniculum" at the petiolar insertion, seems waxy underside, grown attached to a tree trunk.

Seems like a Philodendron, but No idea of the species, since there are so many and you are in Brazil, there are too many possibilities, young aroid can be vary different from mature one, later when it matures it will be easier to point the species
