I've never been good with house plants. I got this pot of plants from friend moving out of state.

There are two different plants in the same pot and they are growing fast. What should I do??? Dennis.

The large one is an Aglonema (common name Chinese Evergreen). The small one is a Syngonium podophyllum, most likely the cultivar White Butterfly. You can leave them together if you like, looks like they are due for a repotting into fresh soil mix in a slightly larger container

Thank you Gina. I do have a bigger pot. And will keep them together. Do I just buy standard potting soil? Dennis.

They are both aroids, I might get a small bag of potting soil and mix in a bit of perlite to pumice to lighten it up. Neither of these need an epiphytic mix heavy on things like LECA, fir bark or horticultural charcoal, but standard potting mix is always a little dense for my liking
