Great banner, Zoia! I assume you took the picture late in fall. Do the dinnerplate dahlias generally bloom late?

Mine didn't bloom until a week before frost and I planted the bulb in the ground in April. I won't do that again! Either buy the plant on the Spring or grow the bulb over the winter.
