Thread OP

Hi all, I'm new here and new to raising African Violets. I just got my first plant a year ago. After a few blooms, it stopped blooming, so I scoured the web and concluded it needed fertilizer. I started fertilizing weekly and think I overdid it. The crown became very crowded and leaves didn't grow (see first pic Nov2023). Again I scoured the web, repotted the plant in new AV soil I bought from a nice garden shop, and put it in a plastic ziploc bag for 2 months. It is looking better now, and it is out of it's plastic greenhouse. It still doesn't look 100% healthy, but has improved a lot. I noticed that the bottom leaves (the oldest ones) are all curled under (see 2nd pic Feb2024). Should I cut all the bottom leaves? Would appreciate any advice. Thanks.
