I tossed some natives out late last year and not to long ago. I am about to start flats of a lot of stuff though.
Always looking for interesting plants for pollinators and food! Bonus points for highly, and pleasantly scented plants.

I started poppies, foxglove, larkspur, red mallow and snapdragons using the winter Sowing method. I set some out Saturday. WS is about the only way that I can grow poppies.

I learned a new method for direct Sowing that I am using this year. Plant your seed then cover with a clear cup with holes in the top. It keeps the birds and slugs away and keeps the seed from being washed Away. Why did I never think of that????
