@jlee160 Love your plant pics! May I ask where your Bergenia is planted (sun, shade, dry, wet)? My seed-grown plants are probably over 5 years old and have never bloomed. I've moved them a few times and always to areas with some shade/part shade at some point in the day. This year they looks particularly crappy and I told them if they don't step up they're going in the compost.
Oh my gosh, I decided to look at my records before posting to see how long I've actually had those things and it's been 15 years since starting them from seed from ronnie17!!! Wow. My sense of the passing of time is really skewed. Whistling

Janine,
My seed swap Bergenia bloomed the first 2 years, and then quit. I suspect that they had nearly full sun at first, but nearby shrubs got bigger and are shading them now. It is a fairly wet area... I hope you don't have to compost yours. I probably need to move mine to better light, or whack down some shrubs. Shrug!

I forget the name of this one. I'll have to pull my purchased plant tags out.

I have to get out in the garden and take some more photos of what's blooming.

Everyones spring plants are beautiful!
Hesperis matronalis is in fine fettle this year, at least the purple one is. This year I have no white, for some reason.

I don't usually plant tulios but my neighbor gave me a giant bag so I bought a whiskey barrel planter and put them in there.

I will try to add names later. I'm pretty wiped from chemo and didn't check the tags when I took the pics. Some are native, some aren't- I've been trying to add some more natives to my garden as I go. So happy seeing things blooming though here is one I took today of my forget me nots, Iberis that I wintersowed a few years ago, and some tulips

Thank you! I would say my two that are currently blooming are partial shade/full Sun depending on the time of year. Currently getting the equivalent of full Sun- but gets a breather in the shade in the evening.

Did anyone else grow out @bluespiral's Salvia Selection from Plant World Seeds this swap? The first one to bloom looks familiar, but I can't name it. Anyone recognize it?

@poisondartfrog, love the poppy! Mine haven't done very well this year. Just today I have 3 little Lauren's Grape, but none of my peony poppies are doing anything. I know I planted them at the right time, it's just not my year for poppies.

Some of my poppies are doing great, others not so much. Mostly the ones that have self sown for the last few years are doing better than the ones I direct sowed in February. Every year is different for me.

Those tulips are gorgeous. I need to plant some new ones this fall.

On another note, why do your fingers look like sausages? (I'm going to stay ducked for a couple of days.)
