Does anyone know what this is? It was growing in a field my neighbor was going to mow so I saved it. It has thick fleshy leaves and stems, and a fleshy white tuber.

I like it whatever it is.

Yeah he and I 'share' a field. Before they moved in 2 years ago, the field was left wild so that the butterfly wildflowers and stuff flourished, but he tries to treat the field as an extension of his front yard and he mows it. I kinda dislike him. I only own a very small piece of the field. he owns like 90+% of it so I can't really say anything.

Bummer about the mowing.
I found lots of lizard tail growing in a creek/ wetland, while kayaking, it was very fragrant in bloom.
