I got Running Late in 2017 and it got divided last summer. There are at least 20 fans. I've not seen rust on it and usually don't get rust in my (new) zone 7a.

It bloomed from July 8 until at least Sept 8 last year. Branching is usually two-way and bud count might be 8 to 10.

I don't know if the scapes get quite as tall as the 49" registered height, but my clump sits about 15 feet from a maple tree, which may affect its performance.


I love the backs of the blooms as much as the front!


Sometimes the stippling is a little more muted and sometimes the petals have more reddish-brown in them, but each bloom looks perfect almost to a fault. Smiling
