This is an oldie for me. I bought it during the Seawright Buy one, get two free closing sale when they were retiring in 2012. I planted it on Lower Daylily Hill, in the hottest, driest, most vertical part of my yard. RR survived there for 13 years until I moved it to a new bed in front of my house last summer. I didn't see any bloom last year, except on a straggler that got left behind. I hope I didn't kill it!

It's a pretty hot pink, on a short, unremarkable plant. It has never been a very prolific bloomer here. I think it's child, Dynamite Returns, is a big improvement, unfortunately I don't own that one.

I had this one several years ago. I thought it rather pretty. Zoia used the term unremarkable, and that fits. Short scapes, not many blooms, and I did not see much rebloom. It disappeared one summer, I did not even miss it, no sign at all of it by the time I did. It was in a rather shady spot, but got 6 hr.

I owned this one for at least four years. It might be the prettiest color of the "Returns" that I have owned. I bought it to be the reblooming plant in its section of the garden. I never got it to rebloom, in pretty much an ideal location, but zone 5ish location. And I never got it to bloom for even three full weeks. In '21, it only bloomed 12 days for me. In '23 I added Stella's Sparky in that section. It was a reblooming machine, so I removed Romantic Returns last fall and replaced it with an EE deciding to try something else to improve the section.

By the way, Zoia, I had a similar experience with its kid, Dynamite Returns. It didn't bloom until its third year, and it was not even a middle of the pack performer for me.
