we humans are smart enough and willing to change and be opened minded enough to listen to it! The future is here and now! Color me excited!

I enjoy learning about science. And these last few years I've watched lots of shows and read lots of articles about climate change. But they mostly talk about theories and the possibilities that the changes we make can/could change the future. Well, O.K. So why isn't it happening already? Some people don't believe the climate is changing drastically but most of us do. And if we act on this fact it can provide new jobs and a cleaner and healthier environment. How bad is that? So what's the hold up? We should be striving for these things even if the climate wasn't changing. Enough of the talking already and let's get this show on the road.

Well, there's a new docu-series on PBS called 'A Brief History of the Future' that is amazing. So far 3 episodes are out. I thought the first one was really interesting.... enough that I watched the next one. The second one knocked my socks off! Imagine a young guy who is cleaning up the big garbage patch in the Pacific ocean! He's not thinking about doing it, he's actually doing it! Or a company that is starting to mass produce mycelium to be used for building materials, packaging and you can even eat it! No it doesn't have to taste like chicken, think bacon. Or the 'waste to energy power plant' in Copenhagen that works so super sustainably clean and efficient that it has won awards. And doesn't produce a single toxin! And people enjoy artificial green skiing on it and using the climbing rock wall for fun. It opened in 2017! A sustainable city is possible. Don't just imagine it... watch it for yourselves.... And don't worry..... Be Happy.
