I bought a clematis at Lowe's today
Online it would have cost over sixty dollars
I took it out of the pot in my hands to look at the roots
It had roots like a three year clematis
great root system and healthy ..
as I planted it because they had overwatered all their clematis the flowers and stem came apart
the crown is not rotted and it's got good attachment to the plentiful root system
Have you had one thtive with out the green left on the crown
It had some green but trying to get it out to plant
it came unattached
Here it is when I brought it home
They had saturated the pot and it would not have lived three more days
The roots were orange color and filled the bottom two inches of the pot
