Hi....I've cleaned a weed/grass-infested area to prep it for planting flower seeds. I was about to treat it with some pre-emergent granules, but it occurs to me that it might hinder the flower seeds that I was planning to sow.......is this a good idea or bad idea ???
Thanks so much !

Yes. Bad Idea. Use your pre-emergent, but start your flowers separately in pots and transplant when they are up and well-rooted enough to have a good root system (that holds together). Pre-emergents only affect the seeds when germinating.
