I love to have unique blooms and flowers. Last week I won 3rd place with this one. I would never purchase it but it was a gift with an order. It is growing on me.

Don't Doubt Dalton is quite unique

I, too, was thinking of Don't Doubt Dalton.

A new one that I planted last year and bloomed this spring is SDB Perfect Animal. It has an unusual color combination that I really like:


I also have a NOID that is very likely Batik, and it has been producing a number of half-and-half patterns, which many iris sometimes do, but it is quite interesting in a broken pattern, I think:

I don't have any that I'd say stun you to a stop because of how unique it is. I need more broken colors

Interesting thread. My most unusual iris was maybe WHITE EXTRA. It looks a lot like MESMERIZER, but sometimes, under/at the base of the spoons/modified beard, there would be lavender. Sometimes on one or two of them, but never on all three (that I noticed). (Gophers got it a year or two ago.)

Brad's seedling 12-12-A is pretty unique, and each bloom is different.

I know it is registered and had a name now, but I don't remember it. I'll have to look it up.

I am late to the party, as usual, but I want to add my weird Concertina blooms to the list. One went four ways, and one barely went one way. Same clump of rhizomes.
