My wife was given 8 of these plants this morning, all in about 3" pots. The person who gave them is unsure of the name. Can you help? Thanks!

It's a marigold. Lots of varieties from 10" dwarfs to 4' cut flower varieties.

I was gonna say, looks like marigold to. Thumbs up As tall as they look, maybe they're Crackerjack variety but until it reaches full height and blooms, you won't know. When you plant them avoid heavy fertilize and keep stakes handy.
Ban the GMO tomato!
