How beautiful! Wish I had your knack for putting things together.

Stunning Susan,
What is the plant flopped in the street in #9?
Looks like Phlox or Yarrow.

The flopper is a Saucy Seduction yarrow I should have divided last fall. Only the large clumps flop. I cut it back yesterday.

The lily is your last photo on the right is sure nice. Too bad about the deer damage.

I'm doing a lot of work in the back yard this year. Moved most of the plants near the fence to dig out some invasive vines, redoing the paths and the border edges, so you may see some ugly areas in these back yard shots.

JoAnn, have you tried the Iris Spring bar soap? I read somewhere that they hate the scent and will not go near it. Use your cheese grater and sprinkle it around. Also the .50 toilet deodorizers, you can hang then around your yard as a repellent, how attractive right? Hilarious!

I find there is something so satisfying about digging up a whole area and redoing it! Hard work but somehow satisfying. Good thing I feel that way because every year I find an area I want to completely redo!

Your yard is beautiful Susan!

These beds were a big reason we bought this house. Never could have afforded to landscape this way! The former owners barely had anything in the beds! Mostly just tons of mulch.

The fence is particularly helpful for supporting tall plants!

Yes! A built in trellis, you could have dozens of clematis if you wanted. They all look good against the black fencing. Thumbs up
