Lilies forum: Can someone tell me which type of lily this is?

A friend sent me this picture that a friend of hers had posted on Facebook, with the caption above it as "Chinese Day Lilies from my garden" I'm sure it isn't a daylily, and she wants to let her friend know what it really is, if possible. I'm not looking for a registered name, just the type of lily. The only thing I know about it is that it's growing in North Carolina. I know almost zero about lilies, so any help would be most appreciated!

It's a oriental lily. Not sure if it's L. auratum or a hybrid.
