Take a 2 liter soda bottle, paint it tan/brown. (I went with tan). Paint the lid black. I cheated and got Pepsi Max, which had a black lid. LOL Cut out enough to put a plant in. I have that plant in a square pot, so I cut the bottom out of the pot, put some potting mix in the bottle, and set pot and all in the cut-out area. It was voluminous enough to cover the rest of the open area. Oh, yes, and don't forget.........give it eyes too. Mine needs a trim..........the "bangs" are covering the eyes. Green Grin!

Thanks for the instructions. That would be fun to tuck in the garden. Is that a sedum? Hens and chicks would be fun too, might give it a porcupine look. Hilarious!

Yes, it is some kind of sedum. Just happened to see it when I was at a garden center looking for other things. It just jumped in my cart. Green Grin!

I recognize the sedum Lynn you have them. Mine was golden in full sun or winter time but turns green in shade. Stonecrop (Sedum sexangulare 'Golddigger')

They are my favorite ground cover, instead of mulch. I plant them on almost all of my potted plants they protect my plants from summer heat and I don't have to de weed.

Well, that is a great idea. And why, with all the different ground cover type of sedum, did I never think of doing this? Blinking
