Looks like the south of Florida is in for a bit of a blow this weekend.

The good news this morning is that the weather people do not expect Chantal to further develop and it will probably brush by Florida as a tropical wave this weekend.

Wind, rain and cool weather, it could be a lot worse in Florida in July, right?

Time to transplant stuff!

With all the rain we've been getting in Bay County, the grass needs cutting again and the prickly pear cactus is VERY happy. Really need to pull it in the dog run before I cut...it's trying to take over most of the yard, but no worry about doggie eyeballs there so it can stay until another time Whistling

I have a pair of african grey parrots in a large cage next to a variegated duranta bush. I had to go out last night and trim it back because it was beginning to grow over and swallow the cage and it's 8ft long. LOL Everything has grown by leaps and bound this month with all the rain.

I hope so !! I've had to water, and I've noticed some things in the "outer reaches" of the yard that are not as big or not blooming much yet because it's been dry.
God gave us wings. He just called them horses

Yep, same here MJ ... the container plants have to be watered daily (some twice a day) with this heat but we are supposed to get rain this weekend! Hurray!
