It's also a good discipline to be reminded to STAY ON TOPIC.

Usually, I can stay on topic only about as long as I can hold my breath.

I keep telling Rick that he needs a Sandbox badge. Hilarious!

Dave, I noticed one of the questions, pre-cooled lilies by Choochoo, added into the Iris Forum. Maybe it should be moved to the Lilies Forum. Is this an Admin only function?

Oops, I had meant to move it to Lilies but accidentally moved it to Irises. I have fixed it now. Smiling

And it's currently an admin only function BUT I am going to soon make it so that a group of volunteer moderators can join a group that will have the power to move questions from the "Ask a Question" forum directly to the forum where the question will get the most exposure.

This way the member still gets the convenience of asking the question in one place without having to find the right place.

That is the one I have marked as watch. It does show up on my home page, but wasn't showing any new posts.
I went back and unwatched and then clicked watch again. I'll see if it will work now.
Thanks woofie.

It seemed to me (but I might be misremembering) that I marked each thread that I looked at "watch this thread". When I came back to the Ask a Qeustion forum, they weren't marked "Watch" any more.

But tongiht, at least one thread showed up in my Thread Watcher

The forum does always show up on my Home Page in the list of favorite Forums.

I am confused. After the new topic is answered it gets moved to the appropriate forum? For instance I just found the Ask A question Forum. I found a post Titled Cucumbers. I answered. Now I see that shows up at the Edibles Forum but before I answered I didn't see it there.

I frequently move threads from Ask a Gardener over to the appropriate forum. For that reason you do not need to tell the person to ask their question in the other forum.
