these were cute... trees cut at about 12 ft tall.. and the top baskets and containers for the plants... I have a couple of pines that might get this treatment.. these were at the botanical garden in Huntsville,AL

Impressive. I saw something similar many years ago. A woman I knew lived in a rural area back in the trees with a long driveway leading in. She had placed baskets of fuschias on stumps all along the driveway and it was absolutely gorgeous driving in. I had forgotten that memory until seeing this post - thanks!

Now that is creative!! I may opt for a shorter tree trunk but I love the idea!!
