This is the same plant as above, plenty of buds. Not sure if the seeds come from NALS or somewhere else.

This lily was a surprise for me, I have never seen it before. But it has 2 stems so it must be 2-3 years old. It might be a 4n asiatic. I'm not able to try pollinating it since I don't have a greenhouse yet. It's not easy to get seeds on lilies without a greenhouse.

A OT seedling. The seed come from a Danish lily hybridizer, Ole Larsen. His OT seedlings are exelent fertile.

Everything looks nice and healthy for a new fresh start. Good luck with setting up a new greenhouse. It helps a lot to have Ole Larsen as a friend. Thumbs up

Ole is a great guy! He usually puts a different OT pollen on his OTs everyday for 4-5 day to get the most out of the pod parent. Good looking stuff Øystein. Can you please explain why you need a greenhouse to get seeds? Is it a weather issue by you?

Yes, our summer are often topp cool for getting seeds on lilies in our climate. Exeption are martagons. The asiatics will some times give some seeds but I have never gott OT seeds in my garden, only in greenhouse. But until now I have not had very fertile OT lilies.

I've never had a greenhouse for pollinating but I am finally realising how much more potential there is to breeding if you have one. Our summers are unreliable, though probably not as cool as yours, Øystein. Still, I'm determined to build one now. I hope you have one in time for next summer!
