Yes, it will reseed but the seeds are much like dandelions in that they have these little parachutes. They end up all over the garden. I always leave mine to seed and if the seedlings come up were I don't want them I just pull them out.

I like to say NO to dandelions and parachutes. Thumbs up

Well, who wants dandelions but it is different with the Butterfly Weed and Milkweed. The butterflies need them.

I like dandelions for their own sake and we have a family story about them, too, so they are welcome in my grassy areas.
It’s okay to not know all the answers.

I will take the dandelions over Oxalis any day! If you mow down an oxalis in the grass, every place a flower lands will drop a seed which turns into a pea sized bulb which turns into a clump, which gets mowed down and the cycle continues till you have clumps all over your yard. The pea sized bulbs multiply and sends down a tap root six inches down and then it starts growing bulbs at the end of the tap root. So if you pull it up you will never get it all. The dandelions are easy with a garden weasel.
If you can't dig up the dandelions just pick off the little balls that have the helicopter seeds. Thumbs up

I agree with hating oxalis. So hard to get rid of. I can't believe they sell it! Although I am surprised other people seem not to have the same trouble. I let my butterfly weed go to seed. A bit messy but I don't mind.

I let my butterfly weed go to seed too but my son said it is toxic to the animals. Oops. So do they know not to eat it? It could drift into the goat area. I have an entire 50 row of it.
