Not much going on here but rain almost everyday the last month, the wettest July I can remember.
This is a one year old reblooming.

These are two I have flagged to use for hybridizing next year
I do not like the flower on either one but both have a great scape.

I wanted to show 2 different pictures of this seedling. The first picture is what it looks like with hotter days and warm nights. The second picture was taken on a chilly low 60's morning. It is much darker in color.

Fred...are you more likely to dab pollen on the seedling with the great scape, use it's pollen on other plants or both methods to try and get that great branching? Thanks

I will use the good scape as the pod parent most of the time, I am wanting to change the flower and keep the scape. The pollen parent will also have a decent scape with a flower that's larger with better color. I may never get anything any better, but then again I may.

Here is an example that destroyed the scape
when crossing two great flowers. I was looking
for something larger than the parents, which I got,
but lost the scape in the process. Two year old.
