I wanted Helianthus 'Happy Days' and had no idea Romence Gardens would send a plant in bloom! It's like I went to a local nursery and picked one out!

That is right, If I get anymore coneflowers it will be from them. They are already large enough to make it through the winter... I think! .

This one has a lot of new offshoots at the crown. I'm going to see if they are easy to propagate. These have the nicest blooms.

Me too! Their prices are reasonable but it would be great if we could get that locally and didn't have the cost of shipping. Just think how many more plants we could afford!

I finally made it out to Romence! Good timing. They were having a clearance sale. Buy 10 or more perennials and get 50% off! Well those are magic words to a plant addict like me.

They have the absolute nicest and most helpful staff!! And even though it was end of season the plants still were in awesome condition! I saved so much that I even sprang for some mums at full price (still priced very reasonably!)

Along the outside of one of the greenhouses they have some small display gardens. There was a wonderful huge baptisia. Too bad it wasn't in bloom

Oh I could have bought so much more!! But I really don't have much space for what I did get! Ahhhh the torture.

I want to get planting right away but it is supposed to be bloody hot here for the next four days! Figures, it had been a cool summer.

I love the coreopsis foliage. Fingers crossed the crocosima lives!!! Love the second clematis as well!
