My mom gave the two larger ones from her garden and the other two are Indian bitter melons from my neighbor who is from India. As you can see, both have light greenish skin, not the usual dark green skin. The Indian melons have skin with pointy ridges.

My own bitter melon plants have not fruited...last year I got the small apple-size green bitter melons.

I do know bitter melon is used in cooking from other cultures, mostly East Indian food I think. But I have never even actually seen the unprocessed fruit.

Rita,

My neighbor just gave me two more yesterday afternoon (glad she is sharing her abundance). The bigger one is about 10 inches long.
They are the Indian white.

Not too many people like the bitterness of the fruit but my DH loves them. I grew up eating them, of course, when I was young, it wasn't my favorite but now I do like them. I need to get her recipe for them.

Oh Betsy, those sure are odd looking fruits!

And thank you for the compliment on my garden.
