Thank you, Dawn. My C. Rooguchi does not yet have buds forming, nor does my Niobe. I'll post when they bloom. Going to add to my clem collection this year!

How exciting!!! I just love them! I can't wait to see your C Rooguchi - I have heard that so many people love that one....I don't have it myself. Which ones were you looking to add to your collection?

Dawn:

It's been a busy weekend. Sorry for not responding earlier.

I bought C. Dr. Ruppel and HF Young this weekend at Lowe's, where they were $7.98 I also have Niobe now among my clems. I'll have to check my list as to which ones I had drooled over!

Angie,

I really like Killian Donohue. I almost ordered it this spring from Donohue's. After seeing your pictures, it is one that I will definitely order for next spring. Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures!

Thank YOU, Doris, for that compliment on KD! I really like this clem and next to her I have Angel Face rose that mirrors the cerise color of KD, which I rather like. I'll try to get a photo tonight when I get home from work.

Here's Kilian with my Angel Face rose beside it. I think they pair rather well.

Wow your photo's of clematis are just beautiful! Good job. Hey I just put HF young in my garden last year. I hope it does well for me this year - such a pretty colour.

My new addition this year is Piilu. I planted Piilu with Bourbon. Lately I have been running out of room so I have been pairing the clematis up....which I think gives a beautiful effect.

Dawn, you will love them, as you already know. I have a few others I want to order for this year, Guernsey Cream foremost among them. We have 2 utility poles (the large, brown ugly ones) bordering our drive and I want to plant some clems against them. Here's what someone did with one of the small street signs in her yard and I think it's neat!

I agree I think it is a great idea to plant clematis on signs or poles!
