Informative information, thanks. So, where do I buy the the Ebony & Ivory crape myrtle? I can only find the trade marked Black Diamond variety. Are there growers besides J. Berry Nursery of the Ebony series trees?

I also wonder that. I expect in time it'll be found in nurseries everywhere under their Flame names but for now the only sources I'm aware of are the nurseries selling it as 'Black Diamond'.
