Wow --you guys are really good on naming the wild flowers -- and I never thought of a stinging nettle as anything other than a "Pain" in the butt.

After I posted pics of the tall sunflower in the ID forum, I learned it was Helianthus grosseserratus (Sawtooth Sunflower). And I have more than one kind of nettle. This is the native Wood Nettle, Laportea canadensis.

Hey that looks like the nettles we have here in MN too! I really do not like nettles!!!
