I have no idea what cultivar this is, perhaps Mrs. George Jackman, but it is growing and blooming at my sister's this weekend. It was planted by a previous owner of their house.

It certainly looks like Mrs. George Jackman, Angie. What a beautiful vine -- such healthy foliage and those scrumptious double blooms!

I agree, Zu. I was knocked over by this clem and it's certainly now on my wish list.

Henryi has finally sprouted and four of the Rouge Cardinals sprouted as well, so I'm well fixed for those. Trying to figure out where to spread them around here! One is going against a utility pole with the Henryi; I think that'll be a great contrast, the white and the red-violet of RC. One of them I donated to our garden club's plant sale last weekend.

There is a lovely clem that I pass by every morning when I take Alexis to school and I'm going to stop and ask if the owner knows what it is. I looks like either Ville de Lyon or Asao, but my Asao has already bloomed out, so it may well be VdL. I just hope the owner knows what she has. So many people don't!
