Tom spoke just last weekend at the Northern Ohio Daylily Society (NODS) meeting last Saturday. He showed a really nice presentation, not only of his daylilies, but great pictures of his farm, which he shares with Doug Sterling. An 1800's home surrounded by landscaping that adds a lot to it. An above ground, circular stone koi pond, perennial beds, and one large obelisk. Their Clydesdales are beautiful horses and we saw a slide of four foals with moms from one year. Way too cute ! Besides the awesome Clydesdales, they have fancy chickens, peacocks, and lots more. Some of his toothy daylily seedlings were beyond the imagination. How much longer and refined can they get ? He has had a real interest in the sculpted forms, especially pleated . He said he would like to combine the two in some very interesting ways !

I have never had any error with my plant list. I think that @Dave will give some help soon.

You have to select if you have or want the certain daylily.

But, he has 174 plants already in his list?

I just added three of the 2015 Polston dips to my list with no problems - kind of curious if this was sorted.

Now I'm only missing Dragon Fury. The Error I get is "Find your plant first" I put in Daylily( Hemocrallis ',,,')? and clicked Daylily. Thanks for the responses!

It seems the reason you are getting that error is that you can't find your plant, and that appears to be because it is not showing up on the AHS site yet.

The hybridizer's photos are gorgeous, but I have yet to see any photos from a garden setting that come close. Perhaps these take a couple of years to settle in and really bare those teeth. My only Polston cultivar died in a pot over the winter.

Yeah it looks like the registration may have been delayed on that one hence the error.

@shive1 Debra I have a few different cultivars from Polston and haven't seen a problem with teeth on them. His plants do take a bit of time to settle here because they seem to like a lot of sun and I don't get quite enough. I've got a nice scape maturing on VAN HELSING and I'll try to remember to take some pictures of it and any others that bloom this year.

James - Please do take photos of Van Helsing. There are several Polstons I'd like to have based on his photos, but I'd like to see them looking good for other people.
