I have my Dieffenbachia Camile on a pebble tray and I mist it twice a day but idk if that'll be enough. It's in a room with a fair amount of AC.

I've grown a few Dieff's in my time and it sounds like you are on the right track with caring for your plant. I live in Florida where it's very humid (we have MORE than our share!) so I don't have to worry about keeping the humidity up around my plants! Having a pebble tray beneath your plant will definitely help; keeping a little water in the tray at all times should supply sufficient humidity. Dieffenbachia's prefer bright shady conditions with no direct sun which will scorch the leaves; and it's best to keep them from drafts also. Be sure the plant isn't in the vicinity of an air conditioning/heat vent or drafts from windows or doors. Keep the soil moist but not too wet or you will end up with root rot and the demise of the plant.

Well it's hard to find a room in my house that doesn't have an air vent so I'll just have to make this work.

I grow dieffenbachia indoors. Our area is always dry, AC or no AC. I just make sure to water the plant at least twice a week and I put orchid bark or some moss on top of the soil to help hold down the moisture I scale down watering during cooler months and winter. I use self watering containers, and the plant surives. I do have to change/amend the soil this year, the growth of my plant looked a bit sluggish, but it is slowly coming back. I also consider the lighting, it does not like direct sun, just bright light. And like most indoor plants, a little air circulation also helps, as long as not too directly blowing on them.

It doesn't directly blow on it. How fast do these things grow?

How fast will depend on the season..usually I find that they do more active growth during Spring.

to be honest i'm a little scared to how this plant will do in the winter when the humidity drops to around 10%. It already has a few small brown tips.

As long as you keep it indoors away from cold draughts it should do okay and keep them comfortably warm. Just do not forget to water thoroughly at least twice a month. I also feel the soil first, if it feels quite damp, I delay watering the plant. Pretty much most tropicals slow down in growth indoors, and resume more vigorous growing when warmer weather returns.

Oh thank god, I'm glad this ain't gonna be like my Zebra Plant that died from low humidity.

I am new so I have a question. My leaves keep turning brown. I thought it was because I had it near the vent. I moved it and they are still turning brown on the tips. What can I do?
