This is the 3rd year and we have never seen them bloom. They spreads through the garden and have to be thinned out occasionally. The flower stalks have tiny buds but never develop or flower. The leaves are green. Now in August the stalks look very dried out and are straw colored. I have researched and looked at photos of what they are supposed to look like but mine have never looked like those. Help! Please!

Suzy, can you post a photo? If it doesn't look like what it is supposed to look like maybe you got a mislabeled plant or seeds if you grew it from seed.
