I am unsure if I should dig the sweet potatos that the leaves that are green some are brown but a lot are still green I took a couple pictures I have never done this so any info would be great also can or should I do anything with the vines as far as planting them again or just put them in the compost pile. Thank you!!!!!

Damian, sweet potatoes take around 90 days so if yours have been in that long I would first gently dig a spot and check and see what size your taters are so far. Since you're in Florida you still have plenty of time to harvest so if they're not very big, I would wait a bit.

This is what I do, too. I go to where the vines are first coming out of the ground and I feel around under the soil. You'll feel tubers and you can judge for yourself whether they are ready. Don't wait too long, and once you pick them cure them in the garage (or some other dark and warm place) for about 10 days before you bring them in for long-term storage.
