Does this look watermelon-ish to you? It kinda resembles the ones I grew last Summer...but it is too upright and has me suspicious...

Personally, I kind of like Buffalo Bur. It's an interesting little native wildflower in its own way. The leaves do look like those of watermelons. Most people consider it to be a weed, though. The spines are pretty vicious if you step on them with bare feet or try to pull the plants by hand, even with gloves on.
