I'm new to the notion of a blog, but have opened one to try it out. The first entry was simple as it had no photos. I'm now trying to do a second entry with several photos. I'm unclear what the 'tag' section is for. It appears that I upload my photos into the column on the right and then drag and drop them where I want them. I don't seem to be able to put more than 2 side by side, yet have seen others with 3 across. ? I also only go a certain amount down, then can't quite figure out how to scroll further. I've poked around trying to find a tutorial thread, but can't find one right away. Is there someplace I can review some quick and easy instructions on how to navigate through this feature? I'm sure once I start using it regularly, all of this will seem intuitive but at the moment I'm a bit lost. Thanks.

Deb, try shrinking the size of the photos to get more than two across. If you click on the image after you have dropped it in the blog, you can grab a corner and pull the size downward. I have put as many as six across, but they are really small. And the uploaded photos should be squarish in shape. Anything rectangular seems to get cut off,

Would also be interested in an answer about the Tag section. I've never tried putting anything in it because I don't know what it is for Rolling on the floor laughing

I think the tag section is for using if you want your blog to show up when someone does a search.

Example: winter, snow , chores, wild-bird feeding

or
Example: planting, peppers . squash , tilling, fertilizing.

If some one did a search your blog would show up

Deb, the 2 or 3 across thing is done with 'tables' which is the button in the tool bar that is directly beneath the A.

It sets up tables and you then drag and drop the photos into the little rectangles it creates. Actually the program automatically resizes them for you.

Thanks, all. I've been busy wrapping up my end-of-career obligations and will be ready to dive into this in more depth soon. Sooo looking forward to retirement!

Try it Debra, it's a great feature.

You can also click on a spot then drag and drop a photo to that spot, then click on the tree icon in the tool bar. It will let you place the photo left, right or center and if you do that, the text will wrap around it.
