Margaret,
I have sold 40-50 lbs. peaches this year so far really not attempting to sell have given 100 plus pounds away.
Christine,
I know you can grow peaches in zone 4 my father does he is nw Iowa 40 miles from S.D. and Minn. lines. He has a nectarine and I think five varieties of peaches. Just remember some years you will not get anything. Like last year the late spring frost killed all my flowers and buds. As long as you’re not depending on them who cares and the years you get them are great.
I grow Kiowa Black Berries also because they are so big and tastes so good but have seemed to only get every other year otherwise they die back to the ground so then a good time to clean the bed up. Smiling
