I can almost hear the song birds in the distance! This scene
reminds me so much of my childhood and this song written
by Paul Dresser:

"On the Banks of the Wabash, Far Away"

Round my Indiana homestead wave the cornfields,
In the distance loom the woodlands clear and cool.
Oftentimes my thoughts revert to scenes of childhood,
Where I first received my lessons, nature’s school.

What a lovely example of 'enhancing' nature.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

I love this scene too! My first website page had this feeling. A DG buddy in Georgia sent it to with a bunch of other pictures. When I told her what I was going to use it for she though I was nuts. I am battling my web people right now for this kind of home page. Grumbling
