Glass ceiling light covers make great planters and the drainholes are already drilled!

This one is 2 years old and growing. I used a special spotted paint technique on this old one that works, and the base is one of those easy to find things from a thrift store. The legs fit tightly pressed on top of one of our Native Florida ancient Coquina rocks.

Glass light covers make great planter bowls...

Very nice David. I love the rock, does it contain sea shells? The paint technique is great.

Here is a very tiny container I picked up at a local yard sale. Already had a hole, I think it was originally made for do shallow planting of some kind.

These little buckets sold as condiment containers for weddings or whatever occasion at our Dollar trees and such (3 for a buck?)...

...make perfect little containers for many Simpervivums and such.

You for instance; Lynn, could pop a few nail holes in the bottom of one for drainage;...dig out a circle of Simps in the container last shown;...set the pot in the area taken out and stabilize it with a couple of tooth picks or heavy guage wire pins;...Then fill with your mix and replant the same ones earlier taken out from the earlier container ...

Nestled into the beautiful growth in the Bonsai pot you have going;... it would create a miniature garden look and be fun!

Alone and planted, these could make great little living gifts also... Simpervivums are perfect plants for this type thing and you have plenty!

P.S. Yes my fingernails are dirty. Guess what I was doing earlier today?

Just a thought! Smiling
