Love that one from dad. He had so many great sayings. Smiling

I just came in from taking the dogs out for the last time today. Boy is it nippy feeling. Feels like it could come close to freezing tonight.
Just checked the weather forecast for Dallas, OR. Will only get down to about 43° tonight. Starting tomorrow we are suppose to have at least a week of sunshine, no rain. Hurray!

I cannot believe I am warmer than you Lynn. We are not going to go down below 60s at night for the second week in a row, I know it is going to be gone soon. Our weather changes in a day. We can be 80 one day and 30 for the high the next.

I still have all my succulents outside. I do not bring them in until we get down into the 30s for a couple of nights.

My Fall containers are all Asters, ice pansy, and coral bells. I am going to put some hostas in pots as a test.

Just checked, 39° right now. Brrrrrrr
Not really ready for this. At least it makes the lawn stop growing. Maybe one or two more mowings this year?
Tomorrow I will have to get busy moving plants around.

Cinta, you are down right tropical right now.

Have to get moving today to get some of the pots in a more protected spot. The cold weather will only last a day or so and then by Sunday should be back up in the low-mid 70s. AHHHHHH Colorado.

We are still hovering in the 52 to 55F overnight..so have not really moved any plants indoors. But days are really much cooler and windy..I was in Connecticut and Boston over the weekend, lovely weather, not cold at all, felt like Bay Area weather, but it is foggy early mornings. I was hoping to catch some nice autumn leaf colors while on the road, but most trees not ready yet, just barely starting on some.

My aeoniums are getting reddish outlines now, awake from their summer semi-dormancy.

Traev, I will be looking forward to seeing your aeoniums. I have two but I do not get or see much difference from summer to Fall colors. My jades are looking pretty.

We are still in the 40s and 50s at night but I know it will not last much longer I will have to bring everything in soon. We will hit those 30s soon.

We are getting into the mid to upper 30's now at night. This weekend I need to clean and winterize the plants that will come indoors.
Very few this year.
